Sales Development Representative
Merritt Business Solutions is seeking an experienced sales and partner relationship manager to work with our insurance agency partners and their client referrals to us. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish.
MBS is a broker of PEO (Professional Employment Organization) services.  We are experts in helping small/medium sized companies obtain back-office HR support services such workers compensation, benefits, and payroll services. We specialize in working with minority owned businesses.
This position reports directly to the President/CEO of the company. As a self-motivated sales executive, you would work independently in the field (mostly central Florida) much of time.  You would also be part of a team with the firm’s other lines of business and marketing members. You would be asked to:
  • Follow through on pre-qualified sales leads that come to us from our agency partners, turning referrals into MBS clients
  • Maintain productive relationships with our agency partners – becoming the face of MBS in various ways to ensure shared success
  • Seek new agency partnership opportunities that grow MBS’s reach and pipeline
  • Support business development and marketing programs – a secondary responsibility 
The ideal candidate has PEO experience.  An understanding of worker’s compensation, payroll services, human resources, and/or benefits administration is preferred.

Job Type:   Part of full time as needed to meet agreed-upon performance goals.  Compensation is primarily commission based.
